During the summer we are constantly balancing work with fun times due to the urgency we feel to get out and enjoy the good weather. This leads us to create mighty long to do lists that rarely involve any good stuff. Instead we see rows of chores, and work. So, make this the year where you put at least a couple of things to look forward to on your to do list and I guarantee it will help you to check items off faster.
The way I started this new exercise was to plan a mini wine tasting at our home in our garden. It is by far one of the simplest activities you can plan, and a whole lot of fun. I selected a bunch of summer red wines to mix things up a bit. While it was a tad unexpected that my entire offering was of red wines, it made it all the more special. And in reality, I had less research to do when selecting them.
So, really all you are looking at for supplies are a few good wines, some cheese, crackers and fruit. No need for decorations, because the flowers are in full bloom. Send out a quick invite and you are ready to party. Well, right after you check throw wine and cheese party off of your to do list.
