If you have a high level of humidity within your home, then you face several challenges. If you are uncertain as to whether you have a higher than normal level of humidity within you dwelling, then know that anything over 60 provides a breeding ground for mold.

Now, until recently I was not very well informed about the process involved in mold creation. I never owned a dehumidifier, and definitely had not watched the numbers drop on a dehumidifier from a startling 81 to a nearly acceptable 65. And to honest, I was happier when I was oblivious.

But, once you wake up in a room at a level of 81 percent humidity, you do what is necessary to leave that desperately damp feeling behind. Now, I do not claim that I am all knowing when it comes to mold, but I do recognize that it is not my friend, and I absolutely want to avoid it all costs. Thus, the dehumidifier is the equivalent of a gift directly from the gods above.
