Improve Small Bathrooms With a Plan of Action

As a new year approaches, I always like to assess where I have been and where I would like to be headed. Sometimes I limit the reflection to the past year, and others I think back even further to what my hopes and ambitions have been. I have been doing this ever since my mother gave me a book that helps one get on track for the best year they can visualise. I am dreading this because last year I listed work on our two small bathrooms as a goal, and I never did it.

Oh I had the best of intentions, but in my defence it was just not the right time. Really I am not relying on excuses to make me feel better, the timing was off, considering many factors. With that said, I think making that little admission has made me feel a bit more willing to let it go. But, don’t think for a second that means take it off the list; nope it means put it on the top of the list for 2012.

You see I keep every one of these lists, and have done since I was given that book back in 2001. They help me to see where I have been and all that I did or did not accomplish. So, when I look at 2011, I will see that I did quite a bit, just not the bathrooms. And then, when I read through 2012 I can see I redeemed myself by putting in two bathroom suites, which is leaps and bounds over the original plan. Maybe this is how it was meant to play out all along. Here’s to 2012, may it be all that we plan on and more.
